Russia’s Kamaz to pay 297 mln rbl in dividends for 2016

MOSCOW, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- The shareholders of Russian truck producer Kamaz have voted for payment of 297.036 million rubles, or 0.42 rubles per share, in dividends for 2016, the company said in a statement on Friday.

The record date is set for July 12.

The company paid no dividends for 2015 and 2014, and paid 205.6 million rubles in dividends for 2013, which accounted to 10% of the net profit calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for the year.

In 2016, the company posted a 1.2 billion ruble net profit against a 3.3 billion ruble net loss in 2015, under RAS.

According to the Web site of Kamaz, its major shareholders are state-owned industrial corporation Rostec with a 49.9% stake, Cyprus-based Avtoinvest Limited with a 23.54% stake and Germany’s Daimler with 15%.
